In our infant care, each caregiver knows that the first and most important thing is forming a close relationship with their assigned children and his/her family. We provide daily written communication, but we always encourage phone calls or visits.November 3
  • Children ages 6 weeks to 13 months
  • Infant ratio is 1:3
  • All caregivers have infant experience and are CPR and first aid certified
  • Our teachers make sure that each infant is stimulated by organizing activities such as water play,  finger plays, songs, story time
  • Our teachers consistently work on the developing language skills of infants
  • Activities are play-based which encourages a lot of interaction with toys and people, and allow for individual children to grow and learn differently
  • Then, as your child progresses, we create an environment that will build your child's fine/gross motor skills, as well as his/her cognitive development
  • The environment includes both soft and hard surfaces for a variety of textures

Koala 02
Parent Testimonials:

• The Koalas room is usually the first point of arrival at Peanut Shell (for children and parents). Ms Anna has made it very easy for us to integrate our son into the daycare program. She welcomes him every morning with a big hug and smile that makes him feel very special. She also makes it possible for us to leave him knowing that he will get the love and attention that we want him to have when we’re not with him.

• Ms Mary Ann really seems to keep everything running smoothly in the Koalas.  She is always loving toward the babies and is very sensitive to parents’ feelings and to multicultural issues, i.e. making sure to wish a Jewish parent a happy holiday at the time of their holiday even if she herself isn’t Jewish; bringing in a book with Spanish words because she knows one of the babies is exposed to Spanish at home, etc.
